Davie Sneddon actually scored the opener with one of the few headers he ever scored with, it was Brian McIlroy who scored the one which clinched the League title by 0.42 on goal average, thou Davie's defence splitting pass was a peach to set him up...... This was also the reason that Rugby Park got its name, owing to the club's origins. All I'll say is I'm very glad we ditched the egg-chasing very early on and opted to play the beautiful game!
