Didn't especially care for U.F.O.F. so curious to see what their second release in less than six months is like.

UFOF was one of those albums that I immediately recognised as being great when I first listened to it - and yet have hardly bothered to listen again since.

Angel Olsen has a new record out today. Not had a chance to listen to it but My Woman is one of the best albums of the 2010s, just FYI (eff-why-aye (for your information)).

Got a listen last night and on first play a very impressive work. A magnificent clear vinyl package too, well worth it.

First attempt at putting together a top 10. I'd say it probably looks something similar to this:

1. Hello Exile - The Menzingers

2. Celebrity Mansions - Dinosaur Pile-Up

3. IT WON/T BE LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME - The Twilight Sad

4. Morbid Stuff - PUP

5. Through Love & Death, You're All I Have Left - Dude Trips

6. Kick - Dave Hause

7. Good At Falling - The Japanese House

8. Nothing Great About Britain - slowthai

9. Out Here On The Fringes - JOHN (TIMESTWO)

10. OK, I'M SICK - Badflower

Been listening to this pretty much constantly since it came out. Didn't expect them to top After the Party but they really just keep getting better and better. Would probably have them (narrowly) behind The Twilight Sad for album of the year, but 'Portland' is my favourite song of the year.

I need to get into Nick Cave and the bad seeds

I tried to listen to that new album.

The first 5 or 6 tracks nothing grabbed my attention and some of them were so awful I put it off.

Since this is the first time I've seen another person mention this, here's a good interview: https://www.theringer.com/music/2019/11/5/20948766/jimmy-eat-world-interview-jim-adkins-zach-lind-surviving-new-album
