UFOF was one of those albums that I immediately recognised as being great when I first listened to it - and yet have hardly bothered to listen again since.

yoda
Angel Olsen has a new record out today. Not had a chance to listen to it but My Woman is one of the best albums of the 2010s, just FYI (eff-why-aye (for your information)).

A magnificent clear vinyl package too, well worth it. Edited October 5, 2019 by funky monkey

Ex Machina
First attempt at putting together a top 10. I'd say it probably looks something similar to this: 1. Hello Exile - The Menzingers 2. Celebrity Mansions - Dinosaur Pile-Up 3. IT WON/T BE LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME - The Twilight Sad 4. Morbid Stuff - PUP 5. Through Love & Death, You're All I Have Left - Dude Trips 6. Kick - Dave Hause 7. Good At Falling - The Japanese House 8. Nothing Great About Britain - slowthai 9. Out Here On The Fringes - JOHN (TIMESTWO) 10. OK, I'M SICK - Badflower
Ira Gaines
Good shout on Badflower. Not listened to nearly enough. It's a great album.
Savage Henry
New Big Thief is very like the old Big Thief. Three great tracks and seven or eight forgettable things. She has a great presence and lyrics, I just wish she was a better songwriter.

I was near in tears listening to it in the car yesterday morning. On the train down to London just now and giving it a proper listen.
GrahamJags
Got to add praise to the new Nick Cave. First listen and it’s blown me away. His voice is as good as it’s ever been.

Didn't expect them to top After the Party but they really just keep getting better and better. Would probably have them (narrowly) behind The Twilight Sad for album of the year, but 'Portland' is my favourite song of the year.
Nelly78
This is probably mine so far this year: 1. Hello Exile - The Menzingers 2. Routine Maintenance - Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties 3. It's a Fever Dream - The Tallest Man on Earth 9. Forever - Vandoliers 10. Eraserland - Strand of Oaks

Nelly78
Having just listened to it for the first time, I think the Bad Books album, III, will make my final list.
