Jambo'ness
1975 and we were up against a side making a return to the Juniors after 20 years, Polkemmet. We returned from Harthill with a 4-1 win that as it turned out secured our position back in the top division for the next season. The scorers were Rae with a double, Tom Balanowski and John Buckley. Team lines not complete but definite were: McBain, I McQueen, Sneddon, McIntosh, Rae, T Balanowski, Buckley
Jambo'ness
Our teaser takes us to 2008 & a St Michaels Cup tie at Musselburgh. 10 man Bo'ness did well to get a 3-3 draw but who was the sinner in the penalty shoot-out?
Jambo'ness
1968 and the Journal headline read 'United go on a goal spree' after the BU's had come away from Armadale with a 7-2 win. Team lines not complete, but definites were: Crawford, McGuinness, McMeechan, Gray, Orr, Cowan, McGuire, J Sneddon (Simpson), Watson

Jambo'ness
Big clue. The name is that of a player who subsequently played for us, if that makes sense.

Jambo'ness
Thought I'd better indulge the lithgae blowhards on here and have a teaser especially for them on April 1st. In 2017, what was the penalty shoot-out score in the East of Scotland Cup match that was drawn 1-1?
