A 2-1 win was secured through goals from George O'Boyle & Alan Ward but the real talking point was the brief comeback of Darrell Drew. Re-signed from Camelon, he was sent off a minute after coming on as a sub in the 75th minute. Not the impact he was looking for. They were no match for the BU's who sent them packing by 9-2. The goals were shared out between five players. Jimmy Burns, who started the rout, scored a brace, ex-Bonnybridge player Paul McLaren netted and another with 'brig connections, Gary Wilcox grabbed two. Andy McLean scored one but the hat-trick hero was Mark Whyte.
