The actual figure being 156. A fair number have gone by the wayside, including two we have played in Junior Cup Finals, Shawfield & Baillieston.

Jambo'ness
For a teaser, we'll go to an enjoyable recent place, 2014, when the SuperLeague title was clinched for a third time! Three part question today, all straightforward. 1. Who were the opponents that day? 2. Who scored a BU hat-trick that day? 3. Who came on as sub for 'keeper Mark Peat?

Scuzz
Lochee, I didn't think anyone scored a hat-trick (Devine, Anderson, Hislop and Gribbs x2?), Stewart Baillie.

Jambo'ness
May 29th 2010 and the BU's knew that only a win against nearest challengers Linlithgow Rose would guarantee the Super League title coming to Newtown Park. It took only 2 minutes for Newtown to erupt as Fraser Forrest lashed the ball home after a corner. The unlikely figure of Steven Ballantine headed a 2nd goal just after the half hour and it was done, 2-0 to the BU's. The team was: Longmuir, Snowdon, Fleming, Forrest, Duffin, Hay, Ballantine, Shirra, McFadyen, Gribben (Walker), Donnelly Edited May 29, 2019 by Jambo'ness
