Thread for fans of Hamilton, St Mirren and Dundee to update each other on how shite we are and ultimately for one club to lord it up over the other unfortunate 2 come the end of the season.

More importantly though - I made this thread just before the start of the transfer window because this is the most important month for all 3 clubs and it'll be good to keep track of the comings and goings all in one place.

So far McIntyre has punted:

Andy Boyle
Adil Nabi
Calvin Miller

He has also told the following that they are free to find new clubs:

Sofien Moussa
Elton Ngwatala
Karl Madianga
Jean Mendy
Lewis Spence
Marcus Haber

So that's him already performing a radical turnaround - There's likely to be another 4-5 names to be added to the outgoing list. Rumours in have been the usual raft of ex-County players such as Paul Quinn, Craig Curran and Michael Gardyne. McIntyre has already brought in Martin Woods and one would imagine his deal will be extended.

Have Canning and/or Oran Kearney swung the axe on many yet? Any rumours of recruitment?

Kearney has already suggested that there will be around 8-10 players outgoing and 5 or so incoming. That was a few weeks ago though and the landscape has shifted somewhat since then. It looks like Ferdinand and Hammill will also need replaced now along with Samson who has retired since that initial assertion.

He's already told Josh Heaton, Jeff King and Cole Kpekawa to go.

It looks like of the 11 Alan Stubbs signings in the summer, there could potentially only be as few as 2 or 3 remaining at the end of this window.

Why don't you think you can hang onto Ferdinand and Hammill? Not gonna lie, I'd love it if we pinched Hammill.

We are planning on talking to both regarding extensions but the implication is that both will likely end up back in England as both want to be closer to their young families.

Both would be big misses. Ferdinand is as slow as they come but his reading of the game is very good. Hammill is really frustrating at times with his greed but is a real game changer with moments of magic.

If I was a betting man would put St Mirren 12th Hamilton 11th Dundee to escape in 10th.  There is going to be a large turnaround of players at Saints. It worked for Jack Ross can't see it working again one year later . Add the fact we don't have the experience of the premiership this being our first season also a manager new to Scottish football. Hamilton are trap door specialists but can't see their luck holding on for ever. Dundee will escape by bringing the right players in. Hope I'm wrong I usually am when betting football.

I wouldn't rule us out of this yet. January is as big a month for us as anyone. If even 2 of the 3 teams below us strengthen their squad (as Dundee and St Mirren almost certainly will) and we fail to sign the right players then we could be dragged back in.

To be fair, it seems that 90% of people who live within 30 miles of Glasgow claim to be from Glasgow.

You don't know the area very well then. Paisley has a proud history. Other towns do also. Just because 3/4 Of Scotland population comes form the central belt does not mean they are from Glasgow though a great city it is.

Mainly for brevity. I'm from EK, but people up here mostly don't know where that is. Having to explain where it is and also that Lanarkshire is not Glasgow (although they're all merging into one) is boring and not very important. We all sound Glaswegian, tbf.
