Cumbernauld 2 Kilsyth 0

First half was dreadful stuff, a lot of huffing and puffing and the ball getting smashed 30ft in the air at repeated intervals. Neither keeper troubled, players falling over themselves, balls across an open goal not being touched in etc,

United made a half time substitution and that changed the game as the Number 15 started to run riot against a generally static Kilsyth defence and it was no surprise when United went ahead and then 15 himself beat a couple of men before firing in from near the edge of the box. United deserved the win, Kilsyth didn't offer much in the 2nd 45.

Hurlford 5-1 Troon
Great performance from the Ford today missing 6 regular starters due to injuries and suspensions. Three goals in the first seven minutes always helps. Troon looked disorganised and big Dean Keenan was an obvious miss. On the other side Ross Fisher and Chris Robertson absolutely nullified any threat from Nade or Ryan Stevenson.

Hurlford's central midfield duo of Calum Watt and Taz McKenzie dominated the first half possession and 4-0 at HT didn't flatter.

The second half was more of the same with fewer goals and Hurlford even had the luxury of missing a penalty before running out 5-1 victors. A great three points with a depleted team after the results of recent weeks. A big thanks to Nathan Baird, who had a top performance at right back today and is now returning to his parent club Ayr at the end of his loan.

Great result for Meadow today . Not being picky but the 2 games we’ve played Meadow were a really poor side . But since the 4-1 game at the Vale they’ve really kicked on. Thought Bankies weren’t up to much last week so it’s not a real shock .

Wasn’t impressed when I saw them recently either but they have certainly got something going and fair does to them. Results don’t lie

Agree great performance from the team. Fisher and Robertson no nonsense centre halves. Nathan Baird had a good game and like Paul Byrne as he looks a cracking full back who likes to play to someone and can defend. Calum and Taz bossed midfield and strikers kept defenders occupied. Great performance.

Heard the pantomime dame Mr Gentiles was centre stage at Glens v Beith. Refs have a tough job and I can accept some poor decisions but he really is terrible

Yes he was, and as usual he spoiled the game with some incredibly strange decisions booking players for fouls that were just that a basic foul I think both teams ended up with at least 6 players booked and one red card each. As for the game the Glen’s started the better and went 2-0 up  and looked  comfortable then just before half time Beith striker played a great ball into the box and the glens centre half turned it into his own net.  Second half  Beith came out the traps and got a penalty which made it 2-2 . Then it turned into the Mr gentles show with yellow cards flying left right and centre.  Glen’s then took the lead, only for Beith to equalise with a great strike from Paul Frize.     Beith then had the ball in the net again only to have it disallowed for what? I still don’t know.  With Beith struggling for players it was a great performance from them.

Beith player was well offside but Lino hesitated before he put flag up.by the way young no 10 looks a player

As the ball hit off the glens centre back and went into the net beith player was not interfering with play goal should have stood.  No 10 is a young lad we signed from  under21 football called Peter Haggerty has made an big impact this season including a hat trick against kilbirnie.

Weve been poor for a few weeks tbh. Recharge batteries n get players back from injury and we'll be good 2 go in 2019

Heard you had a few players missing for the game on Saturday. Credit to you for getting the game on, if only someone had lost the keys to Lochburn Park ;)
