Berwick v Edinburgh

Recommended Posts

I see the crowd was given as 500 which is a decent turn out. Get more crowds like that and Berwick won't be at the bottom for long.
Incidentally franchises with no history or fans receiving financial support seem to be doing quite well in Scottish football at the moment- 7th in the Premier League and media darlings.

Dear Tam
Take away the bitterness towards Livie.
As a voice from your past don’t be so hard on MrPotato...... he is telling the truth after all.
You guys have to be congratulated on where you are now , however do NOT forget the fact that you floated about several East of Scotland grounds when it suited, you had to BORROW other clubs grounds for Scottish Cup Ties when your “ home” ground had Bird Shows on etc, have never been blessed with a big following AND have gone cap in hand to a big rival to use Ainslie Park to help maintain your league status!!!!
For record....if you do well from now then you deserve it But never forget the contempt your club held others in for many many years!!!

Delighted at the result and the improved performance. Great to see Ouzy on the pitch. Good to see a change in Goalie and Harvey thanking the fans who stayed right to the end.

And to those people who left the ground early and missed the Berwick goals I would like to say a very big and very loud 'The Simpsons' style HAH HAH!  :thumsup2

Still buzzing. Results like that can turn the season. We have all the teams to play again at least once. When the injured return and a couple of signings,  we could and it is  a could, start putting results together, momentum is a fickle beast. I just loved that we got stuck in against a very good side and got a result. Great to see 500 there and the upstairs was full too.

What a difference a bit of quality makes. Get Willis and Healy working with Barr and Ouzy and a keeper that has a gob and we could be on the up

You are not wrong.

I actually though Oozy played better in his half hour yesterday, than he did before his injury! Suddenly he provided an out ball and we instantly looked threatening.

Lewis Barr had a great 2nd half too. I thought he was a bit lightweight, but he certainly showed he isn't scared to get stuck in with some crunching tackles.

And maybe Bob Wilson rescued his Berwick career? He can't do the passing stuff, but leave him to concentrate on getting in first and winning his headers, and maybe he has his place.

Curtain seems to be falling on Phillips and Murrell. Rumours that several others will be shipped out too.

So January will be interesting, and although we still conceded 68% possession yesterday (and another 21 shots!), the ending was full of promise.

You sound a bit bitter yourself. Almost as if you'd suddenly found out that incontinent dug from Tranent that had a liking for lampposts belonged to a City fan.
