Spoonburners v Silver Spoonburners

Recommended Posts

I thought the game was poor, again. Hearts spine of the team was much stronger and deserved to win on the basis that they produced an actual bit of quality.

Kamberi's getting a hard time just now which i think is harsh, he gets f**k all service. Hearts identified him as a danger man yesterday, got really tight and doubled up on him wherever possible. We needed Shaw to link up with him and get involved a lot more in build up play but he didn't. I thought he was anonymous.

Mallan does my tits in, he is absolutely dreadful under a bit of pressure, constantly gives it away. Brought in as a set piece specialist and every single fucking corner was floated to the back post and rarely found a Hibs head. His free kicks weren't any better.

No idea what Lennon was up to taking Horgan off, he was the only player that looked like they could produce a bit of quality. Hyndmann should have been on from the start, I assume Lennon wanted as combative a midfield as possible but it just wasn't.

Looking forward to having to play Accies four times monty.png.834a41b03be40b750f1659d2ea73901f.png

As for that old racist c**t, I hope he does time for that.

As far as I recall the songs of the night were the Olly, Olly Lee song. 22 in a row undefeated and “Neil Lennon’s a c**t , Neil Lennon’s a c**t, it’s not sectarian, he’s just a c**t”

Possibly that last one didn’t make the audio mix for viewers at home

Anyway it was an enjoyable evening out and it was the first time my Mum had seen a derby win at Easter Road

Hearts had lost all of their last 5 at Easter Road before last night, apparently neither away side had managed that in the derby since 1914, the year Hearts went off to win the war single-handedly.

At least nobody is talking about Hertz super rare Easter Road win and it's all about a naughty old boy's alleged comment to the black gent in maroon. Heat is off Lennon.

And yet we've won three times at Easter Road since Hibs last won at Tynecastle.

Must be weird acoustics in the south because it did happen. And with great gusto. Not bothered about the IRA but FTP is definitely sectarian.

I had the misfortune to walk along London Road while a family were encouraging their son about 5 to sing Sweet Caroline with the FTP bit. Absolute pond life.

Yes. I've just watched recording. You're  absolutely right. Apologies for saying last night it didn't happen. The FTP is unacceptable. F the IRA is fair comment but it's F all to do with a football match in Scotland in 2018.

Erm... a bit embarrassing, but you do know that Hearts have won more derbys at Easter Road than Hibs?

Sorry Topcat - it is quite clear, about 57 mins. Maybe clearer on TV due to where the sound mics are pointing. I didn't hear it at the match. I don't know what the answer is. Condemnation by the authorities just makes it more fun for the offenders. Personally I would be very clear about putting down in writing exactly which words are not permitted. Use the cameras in the ground and then for the police to march in and systematically and very forcibly remove as many as possible and charge the offenders. None of this - we'll try and track them down later pish.

Fact .The FTP and the IRA song was sung at 56 minutes .

It sounded like a small minority of moronic Hearts supporters who were quickly drowned out by boos from their own support .

None the less , it shouldn’t be happening as it’s totally unacceptable.

Every club has its allocation of morons , whether bigoted, racist, homophobic ,etc, etc and instead of us all trying to point score over one another about them , identify the c***s at games and get them banned .

What an awful day and the banter years Hibs edition look like they are coming.

Great goal from Oli Lee but him and the rest of that team are complete guff. The fact we lost to that is a reflection on how poor we are though so Lennon and the board need to get their act together in January.

I miss McGinn.

I must live in a different world. For somebody to make that slogan on the t shirt and actually wear it in public, defies belief.

In the old days - before reams and reams of new legislation - this was quite simple. It's a Breach of The Peace. The police rip the shirt off him, he gets chucked bare chested into the back of a police van, where he accidentally slips once or twice. He spends a night in a pish smelling cell, court Monday and a fine or a few weeks in jail if he has history. I'm not sure modern policing has necessarily improved society.
