DUNDEE vs ST. JOHNSTONE

Recommended Posts

Here we are. The one we have all (probably just Saints fans) been waiting for.

A great win for us today and a solid draw for the Dees. With Kennedy in fine form and Watt finally finding the net again - are we looking at a massive pumping for Dundee or can Dundee claw some points back in their relegation battle?

With the Old Firm on tv at 12 and the Edinburgh Derby at 17:15 or something or other - we are in for an epic day of football and booze in the city of Dundee.

DISCUSS.

Happy to throw our diminutive neighbours a bone here seeing as we’re now 21 (TWENTY ONE) points clear of bottom place and them. With a game in hand. After 19 games.

Nah. f**k em!!

Getting the train through from Inverkeithing just after 10. Will be in Dundee shortly after 11. Any Fife based Dees want a fight on route then give me a shout, if not, will be sure to do some damage around the streets of Dundee between the hours of 11AM and 2.30PM.
Usual rules apply (no face shots, no nipping, no biting.)

Going to be a class day out, hopefully be a big Saints crowd through. Would have Spoony in for Swanson and Callaghan in for the presumably injured Davidson.
Clark
Foster Kerr Joe Tanser
Alston Craig Callaghan Spoony
Kennedy
Watt

Obvious weakness there is the middle 4,  but sure we will have enough to dispose of the Dundee Derry Boys with relative ease regardless.
11 years and counting.

Might regret this, but 11 years since what?

Yes, over a decade now, two generations worth of fans in Dundee.

It'll be a tight game, McIntyres dull brand of "safeball" always makes game turgid, and we've not figured out the best way to break down teams who sit in.

Sounds like Swanson had a mare, and Muzz will be a doubt. Alis team looks like our best just now.

Need to win this to keep up our chances of the top half, top four are now gone but still a fight with the Edinburgh/Lothian sides to be had.
