Plastic pitch or not we are 20 points ahead of Dundee in our first season back up and have no chance of going down. Enjoy the Dundee derby in the championship emoji1309.png

Aye there are no extra bits added to the league table, like Livi have 30 points but only 7 of those are away from home playing on grass so it doesn't really count.

1 team, ONE team in the entire league has a better away record than home record...St johnstone 13 points at home, 18 away.

Celtic home - 27, away - 15

Rangers home - 23, away - 16

Kilmarnock home - 19, away - 19

Aberdeen home - 22, away - 14

Hearts home - 20, away - 13

St Johnstone home - 13, away - 18

Livingston home 23, away - 7

Hibs home 17, away - 12

Motherwell home 9, away 9

Hamilton home 7, away - 7

St Mirren home 7, away - 5

Dundee home 6, away - 4

It shows that we are substantially better at home than we are away, but it also shows that 9 other teams are better at home than they are away and only 1 team is better away than at home, it’s a very difficult league to go away from home and win games.

Makes sense that the only team to beat us at home in the league are the ones with the best away form.:guinness

Funnily enough your manager seemed quite happy with a point today while ours seemed pissed off with only getting one ...your just not very good on grass as the statistics show

Obviously our manager was happy with a point away from home, it keeps the gap at 20 points, we have increased our lead on the bottom teams and kept you a long long distance behind, why wouldn’t we be happy ? Remember 99% of people had us relegated before a ball was even kicked.

Most teams should be better at home....we can be here all night but like I said numerous posts before your plastic pitch will keep you out of trouble even though your  record on grass  is not much better than us shite fighting relegation.

So you lost 2 away games to teams who also play on plastic ...does that not prove that if playing on the same surface as the rest of us you would be classed as shite like the rest of us discuss ...not the best example to give .

Delving further into the leagues below only 3 of 10 in the championship have a better away record than home record.

2 of 10 in league 1 have a better away record than home record.

4 of 10 in league 2 have a better away record than home record.

So at this stage in the season only 10 of 42 clubs have a better away record than home record.

I think you were a bit lazy near the end of your post.  Can RandomGuy give us a breakdown of home and away points for the individual teams in the Championship and Leagues 1&2 please?

Why don't Dundee just get an artificial pitch then? It would easily get them out of trouble and have them shooting up the league.

Surprised more teams don't do it given how massively obvious an advantage it definitely clearly gives teams.

Don't encourage him, he seems harmless enough just now but I don't think it would take much to push him over the edge.

Because it's shit and football should be played on grass especially in the big boys league which is something your mob won't need to worry about in the near future

Neither will yours

Honestly think we’ll survive this season, but that says more about he standard of the league this season rather than ourselves.

Think you might get 11th. Wouldn't be betting on your lot in a playoff.

Depends on who we bring in on January tbh, but we seem to have more about us this season. Maybe less quality, but definitely more dig and determination, so would actually be a bit more confident this season in a playoff.

This is conjecture. The only thing that matters is points and we have 20 more than you. No matter what you say, that's the only thing that counts.

Not exactly the most entertaining spectacled today. We weren't at our best, particularly up front. Thought the defence were solid, bar a couple of dodgy passes from Halkett. Gallagher absolutely strolled it. Pittman was our motm. So much energy. Keags was missed after he came off. I hope he's not injured.

Dundee looked to have a bit more going forward than us and kept us quiet at set pieces. Definitely an improvement in the 4-0 drubbing at the Tony Mac. However, still a bit disorganised. I'm predicting that they'll finish just ahead of St Mirren but not convinced they'll survive a playoff.

Saw the replay of the red card...what a knob Bobby madden is and the Dundee player should be ashamed at his play acting. Theres a coming together and Hamilton pushes him away. A talking to for both players at most

Cammy Kerr will sort out O'Dea in training.
