Peterhead v The Albion

Recommended Posts

Our last away game of 2018 this Saturday and we make the journey  to the Balmoor Stadium to face a Peterhead side looking to get promoted this season.

For the Albion unbeaten in our last 5 games this will be a difficult game for us and would be quite happy to settle for a share of the points come 4.50.

Peterhead will no doubt fancy their chances of getting all 3 points but this is a Albion side which has improved since KR has taken over and if we can stop them from scoring then we might just spring a surprise here. :thumsup2

Prediction Peterhead 1  Albion 1

What a start to the festive period for us binos. Peterheid away is a fine day out, absolutely buzzing.

As for the game, will be tough one. We need to start turning those draws into wins to claw back the 7 point gap between us and the play offs. Although in saying that, a draw up in Peterhead wouldn't be to a bad result.

King Daz to score, 1-1 win for the Albion.

Doing the 500 mile return trip on the day tomorrow. Hope for a Blue Toon win. Jason and Paddy out guess Cameron and Wullie will make up the back 4, Simon, Ryan, Scott and ano midfield with Rory and the Leagues Best Striker up front. Peterhead have been eeking out results with an ever changing line up, hope it continues.

Little wind and 0c with the wind chill on the snooker table Balmoor surface could lead to a goalfest, my prediction. Buchan Boys 3-2 The Binos, see you there, ENJOY [emoji4]

As with most games this season we approach it in the hope we finally show a bit of class & put the game to bed asap unfortunately this has not been happening very often & we have ended up looking for the refs final whistle when ahead. Albion like most of the seasons slow starters seem to have improved but that is not something we should concern ourselves with as we can step up a gear ourselves with the right attitude  & players performing properly.

Couldn’t make the journey up, but always thought the game was a bit of a free hit. Things have improved under KR, no doubt about it, but the guy isn’t a miracle worker and our faults are still there, he can only paper over the cracks for now but I didn’t see us losing so heavily before kick off.

Well done to Peterhead.

On top good finish from Jack then for some reason Albion seemed to boss it ! 2nd goal really good finish from Rory thereafter only Peterhead were going to win. Dels magnificent header then Cameron’s put the icing on it. Three subs, lose a goal and probably learn a lot for the January window. Pleasing to be able to relax and enjoy the last 30 of a match for a change, in my experience it’s not “The Balmoor Way”.
When will this deja vu feeling stop ? Give it a rest Edinburgh [emoji6]

4-1 was a Bit harsh on Albion. Two sucker goals against run of play and Smith missing an open goal also helped. ..   but we were ruthless.  Somebody please stop the city slickers !

No it wasn't harsh on the Albion, we simply cant defend to save ourselves at the moment. Might have been different if Smith had scored in the first half but in the second half we continued in the same vein the 3rd goal a corner into the box and a free header for the Peterhead player into the top right hand corner of the goal, simply cannot defend anything aerial into the box, either from corners or set pieces.

Hopefully KR can get in a decent centre half who is good in the air to help us, not to mention help in midfield.
