Paiva was a must.

 

A little unknown was Michael Dunwell at Bishop Auckland. Could get him for peanuts and he'd score fucking loads for absolutely anyone. Probably better than Tsigalko as you didn't need a permit.

 

I always like going Ayr. McGinley, Teale, Lovering, Grady, Annand and Scally were utterly unstoppable.

Ayr for me was an easy one. Teale you always got offers for.
Freebies you use to get some older players when in premier.
Between Scandinavian players and Greeks.
Few Egyptian players were decent also.

Ah I miss it. But I cant go back to it. When you already know the best players you can more or less kill the game

I have loved reading this thread. Being reminded of all the players was great.

makes me wanna play FM19 on my laptop. The issue is though with modern fitba reflected in the game. Any "wonderkid" you find in the game is instantly worth £40m, gone are the days of signing a Zlatan like figure from Malmo for a couple of hundred grand.
