Talbot 1978
That was quality to watch. Just like Hearts at the start of the season Hurlford are not the big team they think they are. #pumped
ex-german exile
Gordon Pope, what a strike, what a view of it for us.Cake iced. You should probably add for those who weren't at the game and seeing it on the highlights that it was into the teeth of a very strong wind. It's difficult to imagine a purer strike.
passbackdave
[emoji38][emoji38] raging About what? Ive nothing but praise for talbot on and off the pitch.i would love my club 2 be as successful as talbot on the pitch and have a ground like beechwood. Why did u decide 2 stop supporting hurlford and now support talbot? What happens if talbot dont win the league do u then support the team who wins it? Talbot supporter
Talbot were different class today in every department , Hurlford couldn't cope . What a performance , could have been 7 or 8 easily.
Lokloyal
Auchinlecks ability to pull out the big results in spectacular fashion is quite scary. It does beg the question as to whether the juniors is a level that is not challenging enough for them as a club. The West Juniors top league is the best most attractive non league in Scotland. Exactly the place for Talbot, Pollok,Beith, Glensfton, etc. Sleeping giants like Kilbirnie, Meadow, Cumnock etc will get their turn. SFL 2 might be of a similar standard but not as interesting. Talbot are where they should be.

Kilbowie Benches
So Talbot will win the league again, lording it over all the West Juniors and hoovering up cash from the senior cup. They should be forced up the way to compete at a higher level and not be allowed to continue with the false dominance. There are loads of levels up the pyramid for them to test themselves at..Its an utter nonsense that they are allowed to stay at a lower level. Why would any club with a shred of ambition even want to stay at a lower level just to say they win every week and pick up tinpot trophies and medals?
