UsedToGoToCentralPark
Budget in a couple of days. No overall majority for the SNP so reliant on other party support which won't come from Labour or Conservative and it looks like the Liberal Democrats aren't interested unless independence is taken off the table. So looks like the SNP will have to do whatever the Green Party want. I don't think we will see any changes to tax rates this year but dont expect the changes in thresholds to keep up with Westminster. More money for schools, police, NHS will be announced but I expect services will continue to decline. Also expect another year of underspending far in excess of any 'cuts' in monies received from the UK treasury. More pointless 'guarantees' enshrined in law no doubt as well. -

JamieThomas
I posted up the figures about Gaelic road signs a while back. For all it sends doughballs into an absolute fucking froth, it was something like £20k a year as I recall.

Ask the parties - Tory, Labour and LibDem - who signed the legislation at WM and Holyrood that ScotGov now follow. Where are these areas btw? I and my kids speak Gaelic everyday. I pay taxes too. Can't remember a 'Gaels don't pay tax' exception.

A fair position for a philistine, but rhetorical questions are dull.
Benjamin_Nevis
It's magnificent that Gaelic gets yoons in such an utter state. Imagine having such ingrained self-hatred that you want your own country's culture obliterated because you're thick enough to think Gaelic=SNP [emoji38] Absolute fuds.
