Celtc couldn't sell their allocation...  Disgraceful!

They only sold half the South Stand...  Shocking!

That young right-back Whittaker was a revelation...  So graceful!

Our setup was outstanding and our stands were rocking.

Mackie's knife through butter balls – dear –

they were Scotty Allan-like

Kamberi's control looked quite Messi –

so he cleaned it up with a tidy strike.

Stevenson's drive: Sproule on a bike.

Edouard's dive? Triple front somersault pike.

Slivka's tasty shimmy — an early, composing start.

Leithuanian — Wolf.  Celtc — gang.  Mozart.

Bach in the side, Horgan: a thorn in Brown's backside.

Brown slips over and slides;  Horgan never broke stride.

Brown careered into a career-ender on youth Vykintas.

Brown's career? Ended. Euthanised. Dignitas.

The real madness is for years allowing them to fill the stand and practically turn away games into home games. Worked a treat yesterday - hardly heard Celtic. Next time cut it to a quarter

When Motherwell did this to Rangers for petty (but highly enjoyable) reasons for the Play-offs a couple of years back, it was actually striking the difference it made - but sadly, very few clubs would regularly choose to lose that much money...

It's interesting that Rodgers' reaction to picking the wrong players, setting up in the wrong formation, and then watching everyone one in a pukey yellow shirt play completely shite....is to say that they'll throw the cheque book at things in January.

It's like my time machine works and I've gone back 20 years.

Here's a thing Brendan. Why not take 11 of the 45 expensive players you have in your mega millions 1st team squad, and try and make them perform ?

Underperforming tw@t.

Winning 7 domestic trophies in a row apparently equals under performing now.

Incredible.

Celtic's huge financial advantage over everyone else in Scottish football means that them NOT winning a trophy would be a huge shock.

What does a Celtic fan care about winning 4 games to win the League Cup ? Zilch.

Celtic under Rodgers haven't improved a jot in Europe, where you're meeting teams of equal or slightly greater financial status. Every time you play a European game you look like frightened wee boys, and no amount of flashing lights at Parkhead can disguise that.

On top of that, Celtic's league form this season suggests that you're regressing under Rodgers, not improving....despite a pretty huge investment in new players in the summer.

So you're brutally pish in Europe and under-performing in the league. And Rodgers' solution to it all is to promise to spend millions in January on new players, all to ward off the threat of Kilmarnock, a half-arsed Aberdeen, and a comically pish Hibs team that just humiliated you.

So yes, I would say that Celtic are under performing.

But you have to offset against the loss of ticket sales at 4 home OF games

1.  Possibly an extra  3-4 points, worth how much prize money ?

2.  Lower stewarding/police costs

3.  Extra home fans (particularly with kids) who would come along if there were just a few hundred OF fans.

Oi ! Are you discounting our title challenge off the back of one narrow, unlucky loss at Livvy ?

As much as I don't want to give Celtic and Rogers any credit, qualifying for the group stages of the Champions League 2 years in a row, going a whole season unbeaten domestically and winning 7 trophies in a row is fairly impressive despite the huge financial gap between them and the rest of the Premiership. Of course they've gone backwards  recently but they hit a glass ceiling and didn't invest over the summer.

It felt a bit dirty to write that but fair is fair. I'll give them credit when its due and a general unimpressed shrug when they only win the league and balls up in Europe and at Hampden.

So you say we are ‘brutally pish’ in Europe despite just getting past a team with a far higher budget than us?

You also mention about us spending millions and ‘huge investment’ yet we spend about a third max of what we took in from sales this summer. So net we actually spend the least.

In the end the players you are talking about are 2 loan signings, and one making a loan signing permenant. He's basically operating with a team not as good as last season (No Dembele, Armstrong, Roberts) yet here we are still competing on all fronts.

So.... if you believe what you're saying you'd like Celtic to keep Brendan Rodgers in charge, right?
Otherwise, why do you care?

Motherwell 3 (three) Sheep 0

Aberdeen have a massive financial advantage over Motherwell.
