Video unavailable for me

Still working here. Just search outer worlds on YouTube and you'll get loads of videos. That one is mostly just a cinematic trailer but there's about 15 minutes of gameplay available as well.

Public opinion is so desperately low for Bethesda in the last two years. Here they have two of gaming's most beloved franchises in Fallout and Elder Scrolls and they are most interested in turning them either into a money sink MMO or re-releasing everything countless times rather than actually focusing on new content. Yeah TES 6 is announced now but FFS they didn't half milk 5. Lazy cash grabbing company.

They have also badly misjudged the appetite that currently exists for playing MMO games, especially in games with such a rich vein of backstory to chose from.

Yes, the appetite remains for online gaming but let's be honest, sports games, FPS and racing games are what most folk are after. It should be a novelty rather than a selling point in narrative driven games, RPGs and franchises. Folk want a 30-40 hour single player experience when buying a Fallout game.

If you want to bolt on online play, fine but it's really not what anyone buys games like Fallout, RDR, TLOU, Assassins Creed for. They want advancement of story and narrative. Folk are correctly getting the feeling that companies like Bethesda are getting lazy and exploitative  by doing what they've been doing. Meanwhile, companies like CD Projekt Red get nowhere near as much heat. Cyberpunk has been in development for about 4 years with no release date and people are generally giving them time and space to finish it because they are a company who have a reputation of doing their games right.

Obsidian's trailer is a big two fingers right in the face of Bethesda for this. They created the best fallout game of the modern era with recycled assets and a 12 month development window so I'm excited to see what they can do on their own. They definitely have the goodwill of people who want this game to be a success.

It's on Game Pass. Already got it pre-downloaded waiting for Friday. Read a review that says it's to a large extent just 'Fallout in space' which is exactly what I'm wanting.
Yeah watched a few online reviews and that's exactly what it looks like. Even replaced vats with a slow down system to improve your aim.
