All the best to Talbot when this game comes around . Your selves and beith have done the juniors proud regardless of the result. Every junior team would bite your hand off for a home draw against a championship team. The whole of auchinleck will be buzzing.

Bella; unfortunatly you are 'way off the mark' with your quote about Beith fans wanting a Talbot "cave in". Not true!!
That's what I was thinking. The opinion of a couple of trolls on this forum seem to have been taken as the party line for most of us here.

Never suggested it was Beith fans as a whole, there are one or two from the Mighty brethren who clearly would love a Talbot capitulation. I would accept that most from your fine wee club are behind the Juniors.

Talbot Club open 7-9pm tonight, only 200 odd tickets left

Do you have any idea where the tv cameras will be situated Killie, will they need to put scaffolding up to get a good viewpoint, where will the commentary team be set up and have you heard how many tickets Ayr have sold.Thought you might have an idea about the best area of Beechwood to film from.

Heard the scaffolding will be built over the top of the Main Street Enclosure.

Cheers Chris, I'm keen to seen how they do it as could give us ideas/location for a Talbot TV perch in future.

No idea what the Ayr ticket sale numbers are I'm afraid. Think season ticket holders etc get a number of days to buy first then any left go to general Ayr fans.

Really hope we give them a game as having to delete abusive comments about how terrible and amatuer our team is... doubt they've ever seen us play but seems they feel vastly superior.

Following today's ticket sales only 95 stand tickets remain available for sale for Auchinleck end. Anyone wishing to purchase any of these should contact any Committee Member as soon as possible.

Was reading there are less than 100 Talbot end tickets of the original 1,700 left after only 3 days of sales.

That's a really terrific uptake and with a lot of folk getting paid tomorrow it should be sold out well before the match.

Talbot fans getting paid come on they got double giro money last week

Talbot must fancy their chances against Ayr,who are going through a spell just now, struggling to get a win and score a goal

Can't really make that as a fair comparison though in not dominating and winning at championship level compared to playing against a junior team.

there's a crumb of comfort in the fact Ayr aren't quite hammering teams like they were when the draw was made (think they slaughtered Dundee United away around that time).

Still a massive ask obviously although nobody can be blamed for getting their hopes up as the heart generally rules the head in these matters.

And will they be missing their top striker, Shankland out with achilles injury at weekend or is he set for a big transfer, that being real reason he didnt play.

No conspiracy theories here. He was genuinely injured, did it in training early last week. And he could well be playing at Beechwood.
