MP_MFC Posted October 8, 2022 Share Posted October 8, 2022 Yeah they were both on out laps, apparently there was a gentleman’s agreement that there would be no overtaking through 130R if not on a lap, Max has then saw Lando steaming up and has hit the pedal and loses the car - button called it immediately on the coverage that I saw so would assume combo of all that and no doubt data backing up the assertions re cold tyres means it was just a reprimand. One look at the inhabitants of the grandstands on British GP weekend tells you all you need to know about why I point blank refused. Seriously. They make it up as they go along. There will be a 45 minute delay because of a '10 minute' rain shower, by which time it will be bucketing down again, then we'll be treated to the spectacle of a load of cars in dry weather setups because reasons, circulating behind the safety car for f**k knows how long, before they either call it off completely, or we get two laps of running before someone bins it and they call it completely.
