And yet he's now at Morton.

Doing f**k all, according to most of the Morton fans. He's an assistant manager. He's basically there to put out cones unless he's told otherwise.

I miss Housty, but at the time, he was given a budget to win us the league, he then signed fucking naebody other than Alex Harris and Rory Loy. Took us into the league, got pumped in every game other than when we drew with Brechin.

He made a total c**t of it, and was rightfully sacked. He gave us all some class games, the wins over hearts rangers and hibs and the cup final were superb however in the end he had to go.

He was retiring at the end of the season anyway.

As evidenced by him still working as a coach in the same division over a year later? Righto.

I find it odd that Houston gets such a bad time from Falkirk fans but Hartley was being hero worshipped last summer after finishing 8th.

It's the difference between being the guy who fucked a good team up, and the guy who kept that fucked team up.

That Hartley subsequently did the same is sadly a matter of record.

Imagine if AJ has you guys second bottom in January, then a new guy comes in and keeps you up. Got it yet?
