Christmasbreakwatch 2018

Recommended Posts

It's the advent of, well, advent and Christmas will soon be upon us. This season there's just a truncated 1-weekend break in EOSL on Saturday 22nd December, but apparently a couple of games have come forward to then, where clubs preferred the New Year weekend off. HoB, Bo'ness and Linlithgow are also the 'odd teams' in their conferences on that Saturday 29th December.

Any friendlies or mini-tournaments mooted?

EDIT: Crossgates-Dundonald and Eyemouth-LTHV come forward to 22nd.

EDIT AGAIN: According to Dalkeith's website there is also a friendly on Saturday 22nd December, when they host fellow EOSL outfit Haddington with the slightly early 1:30pm ko.

Bo’ness v Linlithgow up against the old firm is a stupid decision when the game could have been played on the fri night under lights
Not sure a Friday night derby in the festive season is such a good idea either.

And tbh, I'm perfectly happy to do without those who'd rather watch the bigotfest.

Keep your wee suggestions to yourself. 9 out of 10 BU fans (who expressed a preference) said bring on the swan molesters.

If there’s a chance to arrange a competitive game, that would be better than a friendly,we don’t know how bad a winter we’re going to have, and with 4 games still to be scheduled,a chance to get one played makes sense,I was hoping  one of theses games could be played in a midweek over Christmas
