SCOTTISH CUP DRAW

The scottish Cup is now practically dead lads let's be honest. Most of the best teams in the East are gone and the scottish Cup isn't what it once was.
Time for a new non league Scottish Cup like the fa vase down south.
Spoken like a supporter of a team that's already been knocked out....

No you're totally wrong I said the exact same thing before we played Kilwinning and would say the exact same thing if we went on to win it.

Just so glad we won it in 2016 when it was all in :)

When was the last time there were more teams from South Ayrshire than both its North and East neighbours at this stage of the cup? Good stuff.

More of a shock that there are currently more central league sides left in the cup than Ayrshire. Could change with the two games outstanding, but I am pretty sure most of the remaining teams in the cup wouldn’t mind there being 8 central teams still in the cup come January and the next round of games.

Not strictly true Archie, used to be the case but nowadays is open to all clubs at Step 5 and below in the English non league system, and many of them are semi pro. Northwich Victoria are in it this year and it's only a few years since they were in the Conference National.

FA Trophy is tiers 5-8 (or steps 1-4 of the NLS). FA Vase is tiers 9-11 (steps 5-7) plus clubs from the Channel Islands & Isle Of Man leagues.
