Hearts v Rangers, 2nd Dec 2018, 12:00

3-1 to the Rangers. A Big Laff double and El Buffalo to get the other.

THe weegie press linking our players with Rangers before we play them never fails to amuse me.

Who?

Can't think of any Jambo who could get near the Rangers squad.

No, but at least our MacCrae's Battalion could give your orange order a run for their money in all things staunch, so at least we have that going for us.

Rangers away form is still far from convincing.   I thought you'd get ripped in the Edinburgh derby.....so..... I now think that like that game you'll get a draw OR a 1-0 win courtesy of an 89th minute set piece.

You expected Hibs to rip Hearts at Tynecastle?  Had you had a severe head knock?

They should invite Killie fans to come to the game for a ***-trifecta.

Sounds a bit Roman to me, m8.

We've not been on a great run, but I don't think we should have anything to fear at all here.  We are generally good at home, even the Killie game we were unlucky to lose, while Rangers away league form has been very patchy.  Scoing is an issue but it'll be a close game, hopefully we can get back to using our strength at set pieces in the absence of guys like Naismith.  Would like to see Maclean up top with Mitchell and Morrison wide.

Your post fills me with hope. Time for a surprise excellent performance.

Bob's getting his excuses in early for dropped points.

Hopefully Collum is ref and you'll have a full house.

Collum is finished as a top referee

I can see this being an absolutely horrendous game. Hearts have so many top players missing they will try and sit in and sit in and sit in a little more.

Hopefully Rangers are on a high after Thursday night

Thankfully you won't need to see it, having easily secured your cup final ticket for the day.

Really hope we don't go in to this with our heads down, still fully believe Rangers are nothing special particularly away from home.

Not sure I'd risk Berra in this given our recent history of injuries (we've got an injury problem btw) and Dikamona and Dunne are a decent partnership. The midfield really needs to step up since we're struggling up front, it's all fine and well saying we don't have our first choice strikers available but they've not created anything for anyone, striker or midfielder. Djoum infuriatingly switches between drifting through a game doing naff all to suddenly deciding he fancies getting stuck in.

We'll struggle if Wighton starts up front, spent ages telling Dundee fans that we wouldn't be doing the same as them and wasting Wighton on the wing and instead playing him up front. Don't think Sean Clare can continue with this poor form and so I'd probably still start him alongside Haring.

I'd take any win but would be disappointed with less.

Has he ever started as a top referee?

Corrupt, incompetent, scared of getting the windaes tanned or just a Celtic fan.

Any combination of the four.

I wish we had brought Naismith back as well. Delighted he’s missing this one.

Harry Cochrane should stay where he is. He’s a cracking young player but he would be so far down the pecking order at Ibrox. Better staying at Hearts where he will get far more game time and hopefully in time he ll develop into a great player...by that time he ll be way out of Rangers price range.

Any young central midfielder should look no further than Greg Docherty!
