Scottish Cup 4th round

Recommended Posts

Watched the hurlford v shortlees game today as ours was off. Not a great football game but plenty of endeavour, hard work and effort from both sides. Shortlees were the better side then lost knapp and Rougie to injury then struggled for a spell after that. Hulford defended really well and they’re new striker Eddie they got from Irvine vics looks a really good addition. A deserved win in the end I would say given the circumstances.

200 at most

There's  about 60 on back fence alone. I thought 350 maybe 400

Not taking anything away from Cumnock but they are a premier team and should be able to to compete in majors
Pennies have a off day or were cumnock decent?

Wasn't at that game bud, was at Thistle v Shortlees game, ask the guy who posted about this game lol, that is a good result for Cumnock to be fair but I would say Mossblown draw with Harestaines the big surprise of the day

That was one side
Your right a feel a wee bit of a knob lol, when you look at it from that angle there's no way there was 500 there, looked like a lot more from where a was standing but looking at it now probably 200, 300 max

Hurlford deserved their victory, was first to every ball, Knapp should never have started was no way match fit, some cracking goals in the match, thought Michael Mullen would have been there ? Was the question everyone was asking, would he have made the difference? Don't know why cunny getting abuse  as he stepped  down at the end of last season, great spectacle for Saturday football, great goals great banter.

Bud respect your opinion but the only time Shortlees were the better side in this game was in the closing 15 minutes when HT had already the game wrapped up and sat that little bit deeper and allowed Shortlees some chances. Ablorth and Currie missed two sitters before the wee right back scored a worldie for Shortlees. Cadwell was a total spectator in the HT goal in the first half and Shortlees offered absolutely nothing in the final third. Knapp wasn't fit and had he been there's no doubt the game would have been different but that only goes too prove what we all already know, without him Shortlees are a very mediocre side
