What season was that?

1930's probably.  Certainly when we had  at least 18 teams in the First Division to make it credible.

Edit:  If The Dossers on here weren't constantly eccied or buckied out their skulls you'd maybe get a more accurate reply.

Willie McFadyen was the top scorer in 1931/32. The overall Scottish record is 66 goals in 38 games in old Second Division by Jimmy Smith of Ayr United in 1927/28. Helped Ayr win the league and promotion and was off to Liverpool after only 1 season. https://www.lfchistory.net/Players/Player/Profile/849

How many of his goals did you manage to see?

Sir Stephen does what Sir Stephen does. Hopefully he gets the 5 goals soon that will give him the record he fully deserves.

To the Dee supporters and McIntyre, you weren't the first and won't be the last.:)

wow what a result and performance from queens. Fordyce and Low for only being 60% fit were quality, Low makes such a difference in the middle just keeps everything simple.

Maguire also showed class and composure

Dobbie will get all the credit as he usually does but i personally thought Dykes was different class. Even with the ball at his feet Dundee players couldnt get it off him. Fans wont realise how good he actually is until he is away his work rate is unreal.

When are the highlights up?

For Scottish Cup games on a midweek night the club is not allowed to post highlights until 24 hours after the final whistle. They are also supposed to be restricted to a maximum of 5 minutes.

There was a professional film crew in attendance last night so there might be clips of the goals on BBC bulletins/website at some point today(?)

There's a Sportscene on at 10.45 tonight.

Great team performance! For the 1st 10 mins Dundee did look like a team from a league above, but then they gave Dobbie some space and got punished. Great work from Dykes on halfway for that 1st goal too. I couldn't believe the shambles for the 2nd and 3rd goals, and plenty of other ocassions they got away with carelessness. Credit to Dobbie for gambling and putting them under pressure of course. Credit to Naysmith for getting the tactics spot on.

For the penalty shout, it did look like a pen, but let's be honest, Jacobs was never going to score from there so there is a good chance he went down too easy.

Did anyone else see Dobbie hold his hamstring a couple of times in the 2nd half? Obviously didn't affect him too much but hopefully he has a well earned rest between now and the weekend.

Red got penalty call right for me. Jacobs was falling (probably light headed so far up the pitch) and the defender barely touched him. Dobbie's first was even better than I remembered. The defending for the 2nd and the 3rd was as hilarious as I remembered.

Offt 1400 at the game you say?  Looked double that.

1307 home fans which means all bar 122 of them could have been accommodated in the old stand.
