Segregating the ground in preparation for the match will be the issue for tickets being required. What is the capacity of the away end, 500? What happens in 1500 Ayr fans turn up? BC63
Plenty room at the away end. We've had segregation on plenty of occasions with no hassle.

BC63
No sure as this game will bring out the neutrals. I would love to see an all-ticket full house but can't see it happening.
Talbot 1978
Ayr fans are more delusional than I thought lol. Never gonna get the ground full. Ayr will bring about 1000-1100 with about 600 Talbot maybe a few hundred more neutrals
ASC_FTK
Once in a lifetime game at the National Stadium....we sure weren't crying that day. Or a few weeks later Ayr's biggest day in their history was knocking us out the Cup as holders. I'll admit that day hurt as losing any derby day does but I'd guess nowhere near as bad as a few months earlier as you watched us lift a National Cup, something you'll never do. You lot need to cling onto the small victories when you get them I suppose.I’m sure there was quite a few crying at the final if a remember correctly [emoji23]

rb123!
Thought Talbot would bring out more than 600, considering Beith had 1,000 and i thought Auchinleck would have a bigger fanbase than Beith.

Talbot 1978
"We need to speak to police, Ayr are well supported - but I think their biggest home crowd this season is around 1,800."Checked on web stating Ayrs highest home attendance for last season was approx 2500. I'll assume even if that many Ayr fans attended(highly unlikely) that still leaves Approx 1500 for home support. So lets keep this real and say that there is no need for tickets. 1nickydevlin
Our highest attendance this season has been 3k I think . We will take 1200 fans to Talbot Squirrelhumpers just naming European countries .
Blackie Gold
Talbot fans will well exceed the the 600 that was stated. We had 350+ at Cove. Really looking forward to the game and after watching Ayr in the Beith highlights I think that we are going to be under the cosh like the Hearts match. However an injury, sending off or a bad shout by the official could turn a game on its head. Although we have never claimed a senior scalp we have done well with a 2-1 defeat at Stirling, a 1-0 loss at Hearts and taking Stranraer to two games. If we could match those displays I would be extremely pleased for my team.
mugen_power
On a pishing cold January afternoon with no shelter, we'll be lucky to take
ayrmad
I'll go for a crowd of 3000, there aren't many local amateur or junior neutrals that won't fancy this one if it doesn't clash with their own game, unfortunately for Talbot a lot of the juniors will want to see them getting rag-dolled, the price of success I guess.
