Often in Europe lol. Going to Benidorm at the kilmarnock fair doesn't count.

Lets look at facts...8 European home and away ties in last 20 years

So. ..Average 2 rounds with home and away every 5 years.

How many do you have in that 20 year period?

If I had been to Benidorm 8 times in 20 years , I would call that often....

Are you chastising the Ayr fans for not supporting Talbot to win?

Not at all.Nothing to do with the Ayr fans. Its about the wee teams coming good against the big boys in the face of adversity. And no matter which team you support in Scotland we have all been the wee team in certain circumstances.

History has Killie way out on top? Google the head to head record and get back to me pal.

I don’t need to google as killie ate way out on top in the head to head, only a fool would suggest otherwise. No matter what you try,you can’t alter the facts.

Gents,...Auchinleck Talbot, Ayr and lurking Killie & Cumnock fans
Anyone else noticed that's this thread is the most used and viewed over recent inputs?

Interesting imo

That's what happens when the BIG clubs meet each other...............

So is this over 10 years, 20 years, 30 years? 108 years? head to head record?
Can only can be recent cup games, as we have not often been in same league due to ayrs below average league record versus Killie.
Question...Would you prefer maybe 5-6 cup wins in 10-15 years over Killie and happily have bounced about the seaside leagues, or been in top league winning both cups, multiple final appearances and often in Europe?
How do you define success over Killie?

Obviously from the first time we played each other ya bloon.

Nothing wrong with the seaside leagues great days out, I reckon there will be a time in the future yous will see that for yourself and we’ll be in the big league.

Our success over killie has been getting the better of them overall on the park as the head to head record says and off the park, the only things that matter.

Ireland, Germany, France, Iceland, Norway, N.Ireland, Czech Republic, Bosnia....how many Ayr fans in their 30s have seen their club play competitive games there? As I know plenty of Killie fans like myself who have.

Once in a lifetime game at the National Stadium....we sure weren't crying that day.

Ayr's biggest day in their history was knocking us out the Cup as holders. I'll admit that day hurt as losing any derby day does  but I'd guess nowhere near as bad as a few months earlier as you watched us lift a National Cup, something you'll never do.

You lot need to cling onto the small victories when you get them I suppose.

Funny that

I enjoyed the game vs Albion Rovers where we won the league far more than any win over Kilmarnock.
