You play Hamilton next?

Surely you want them to win this one, then for you to beat them, and it means you've "gained ground" on both.

A win could be a boost for Hamilton's confidence and thus make it less likely for us to beat them on Wednesday.

The only way we can gain ground on both is a draw today and us beat Hamilton on Wednesday.

Well fingers crossed Hamilton win today and on Wednesday, then.

HT 1-2

Yeah fair reflection of proceedings so far. We’ve been abject, even made a tactical sub on 35 mins. Didn’t improve anything right enough.

The first goal is an error from our new goalie that results in the corner. The corner is then flicked in by our old friend Douglas. Good header, poor defending.

The second is a free kick crossed in deep. Hamilton players lining up to put it in and one of them does. Half hearted claims for offside aren’t given. Could have been off but... if you’re going to rush out at a free kick like that you’re asking for trouble. Need to see it again, was close.

We get one back from close range after a second ball from a cleared corner.

Hamilton do what they do and they’re good at it. Therefore we are going to need a big improvement second half to turn this around.

Hamilton are just about worth their lead. We've given away two dreadful goals and created virtually nothing, although I hope the linesman gets credited for the assist for Hamilton's second as he must have been the only person in the ground who saw a foul.
