killiefan27
There was a ship which crashed on the island in 1981, which the tribespeople have scavenged iron from for their arrows, which were previously stone. No-one died, thankfully. If you go on Google Earth you can still see the wreck, which is pretty cool.
Ross.
Read elsewhere that this was the 3rd or 4th time he had visited the island. I expect this was the first time he had brought a bible, and they reacted in the correct manner.

Highland Capital
What kind of football was it? An American football or a soccerball football?
resk
What kind of football was it? An American football or a soccerball football?I heard it was a proper fitba, that the boy had been coached by Levein, and that when he got to the island he'd suggested setting the lads up in a 4-6-0. Didn't go down well.

Only after their defender was sent off for horrifically slaughtering James Forrest at the edge of the box. Don't fancy our chances playing them on their on patch though. I’m sure they have a better pitch than Hamilton/Livvy though.
ICTChris
Think of the laugh you could have flying drones about the place. Drop some iPads with porn on them. They flew a helicopter over after the Indian Ocean tsunami to check if they were still alive and they started firing arrows and spears at it. Assume a drone would get the same treatment.
Florentine_Pogen
Four/five day old news. When I first read about it I thought “what an idiot, deserves him right”. A couple of days later when it emerged he was engaged in Christian proselytism I was very happy that they had taken the demented c**t out. Did a fine St. Sebastian impersonation. While t hey were waiting the Sentinelese appeared on the beach with weapons and started building canoes. The crew radioed in asking for guns to be sent but their request was denied. Luckily for them the weather changed for the worse so the islanders couldn’t make it out to the ship.Imagine how much you’d shit yourself though, already shipwrecked and a load of tooled up isolated tribeslads getting ready to canoe over and turn you into a notch on his belt. I read that the hostility might be a result of them having a verbal record of the Andamanese being more or less wiped out by disease after contact many years ago.
