SFA needs cleared out to like Germans did in 1999

And they unlike us actually won things they made there football one federation

We are stuck in Victorian times it's decrepid

Agreed. It's sad because we have a group of genuinely good and promising players...more so than we have in years in my opinion. With the same old setup we'll hobble along as usual. As a fan of Japanese culture it's amazing to watch how they have progressed with governmental help and although they are a much much bigger country it shows what can be done with schools all over the country being funded to help nurture youngsters

We are better than them there best player failed at St Mirren and has dropped out EPL in record points

Sorry picking them over us to play in a easier world cup route is shite bagness at it's highest order

And possibly brothers who don't get on like the fan dans Oasis scenario wish Harry was Noel though the good one

Never did maybe I should about football and I wold get less slated sometimes

Not sure what that means but whoever they play for means nothing in terms of teamwork. South Korea got to the semi finals in 02 because of being brilliantly managed, gwttinng super fit, working their balls off and coming together as a team.

South Korea no doubt is a vast populated country though

Almost 52 million people in South Korea and Uruguay won it when the Brits teams never even wanted to play in it

Sigh. Uruguay got to a semi back in 2010 (3m people) and Iceland has about the same population as Edinburgh. Denmark has the same population we do. Stop talking about population please.

Thank you.

'Off the bog boys'

Teams who jump off the toilet? Not getting this reference.

Anyway, it's almost as folk are making the point that population, be it large or small, isn't really a factor.

To be fair you'd have to be disgustingly stupid to not understand that.

It clearly is a massive factor.

I don't believe they won the world cup.  I think the team with fifteen times their population beat them if memory serves.

You're right

They only got to the final

There's probably a lot of factors at play besides just population.

Croatia's small yes but it's sunny so more kids will play, it's also recently been through a struggle for independence so the players will inevitably play with more hunger & pride than ours will.

Uruguay are the most successful country in world football ever in terms of trophies won.

If you're arguing population isn't a massive factor you're an idiot.  It's as simple as that.
