Makes sense It's because Clarke has been in the media today moaning about not getting a penalty, while Tommy Wright never mentioned it. Actually watching the footage and picking up key points seems a struggle for Sportscene, so they rely on the press telling them what to show. They every week try to find something negative about saints and of course Kris Boyd is a pal. On the highlights the one with Chris Kane looked worse than at the game. We always miss them anyway. This is very true. To be fair to Stewart and Thomson, both dismissed Boyd's claim without a hint of uncertainty. As mentioned, the simple fact that Boyd has been claiming it was a stonewaller was justification to discuss it in their eyes. For the Kane one, you often see a centre back block off a strikers run, but usually by stopping in his path. Hope Brophy is back soon as he would not have held back today when others were fannying about instead of having a shot. I have no idea how Saints have won five games on the spin as they remind me of Hamilton with the time wasting and claiming every time one of them fell over or a Killie player had the audacity to tackle the precious souls. I wasn’t at the game, but don’t think either is a penalty. Ours is a free-kick on the edge of the box IMO, before it reaches Boyd. Saints one is more of a shout, and it was a very silly challenge, but the striker is never getting near the ball and it’s not a violent or dangerous challenge.
