On a separate note, smallest crowd Rangers have brought to Perth for a long while today.

I've never really understood that about the likes of kilmarnock (and Dundee). You'd think they'd want to stay away from anything that associates them with their big brothers, and yet almost every song they sing is some old firm tribute (mostly rangers connected, obviously).

Thought that was a really good game for a 0-0 - both teams showing a lot of endeavour to get forward, but most of the attacking players on the park had off-days when it came to the final pass or shot. Thought our central midfield two were excellent, and both of Saints centre-backs played really well. No reason why both clubs can't be involved in the battle for third (or even second).

Not surprised to see folk on here criticising the performance of one of our forward players, but astonished to see that it's Boyd rather than Ndjoli. The boy plays like the entire concept of football has just been explained to him about 30 seconds before he steps out on the pitch. It was no accident that we improved tenfold when we put Jones on for him 10 minutes into the second half. He must have single-handedly killed about 6 or 7 promising counter-attacks - the highlight was just before half-time when he had 50 yards of space in front of him to run into down the right and instead he cut inside and went looking for a foul.

It’s the tune of an American marching song during the civil war. Killie adopted the tune decades ago.

Almost all football chants these days are variations of the same song amended to suit each team. Other than some eejits on here Saints are generally a pretty unoffensive club and do lots of things right. They do deserve a better support than they get .

You can sing versions of the same song without singing the song that is most associated with right wing, sectarian, anti Catholic sentiment in Scotland. You shouldn’t be singing it, it’s a complete embarrassment for you.

thanks for the lecture on morality.

Yes. We all vote conservative and own range rovers, thus making us better than the peasants from Kilmarnock.

How excactlly is an American marching tune anti catholic? Education will tell you that many catholics sang it and in fact a catholic wrote the tune.
