Clyde v Stirling Albion

Recommended Posts

Just watched the highlights to be honest Currie doesn't look to clever at the goal defenders didn't help but he should have held it in my opinion
Looking at Stirling's goal you also have to look at the two Clyde midfielders who don't exactly burst a gut to close down the boy who eventually crossed the ball.

Number dont know off pitch with injury then proceeds to hobble onto pitch for physio to come on to waste time,Cupla mins later another one goes down with cramp few yards max from touchline when could have easily walked off pitch both in 2nd half..

Disgusting

Time wasting really does bring out the hypocritical side of football fans. If it was the other way round you wouldn't be arsed. So wipe away those tears and get over it.

still not sure why our first goal was disallowed :thumbsdown

Clydes' highlights seem a bit one-sided. Didn't even show the chalked off goal. It would have been good to get another angle on it.

Apparently Stewart's back injury has healed and he is 100% fit. Think DL prefers Grant!!

Lennon said before the game he’s been off work with a virus all week and it’s not the first time this season he hasn’t been well.

To be honest, the Stirling player that was off the pitch just to hobble on and collapse was taking the piss. The ref made a point of stopping his watch and their time wasting came back to bite them in the arse anyway.

And yet the ironic thing is, under Barry Ferguson, Clyde were the masters at this and I don’t remember you coming on here branding your own team disgusting.

You  missed something in your story, he came back on to defend the corner before  his leg went again and he had to be helped off. He did not come back on and  sit down down immediately.  I could see you weren't really paying attention when you didn't note his number - it was  5 Evan Horne.

Very disappointed after last weeks battling performance against Embra. Started well both halfs then faded, probably due to poor distribution and lack of quality from set-pieces. Need yet another good reaction next week at El-Gin. Credit to Stirling who battled away up to a point, thought your no 8 Docherty created many openings in midfield, however the time wasting element in the 2nd half came back to bite you in the arse big time..........if you had continued to put us on the back foot then you could have had the opportunity to gain the 3 points. That was evident in our play last week as we continued to take the game to Embra and not revert to time wasting..........its all about opinions.............. still looking forward to going down to the game next week!!...........

Being in Stirling position on Saturday I would have wanted to waste as much time as possible too, it’s not as if it’s something new, even the top teams do it. I know it’s frustrating when you losing but it is up to the ref to deal with it, adding on time or punish players who over step the mark.

Remember having plenty o wasters under BF but never time wasters, poor attempt of a comeback.

Perhaps if your team never time wasted as much the ref would have called time earlier and you would have taken 3pts home..

Pleasing

Perhaps if our other goal hadn't been disallowed we'd have 3 points. Perhaps if you missed instead of scoring your goal we'd have had 3 points. Perhaps none of the above is at all relevant, including your nonsense, because it never happened.
