Blyth in play offs for the NL, South Shields play off for NLN and Morpeth winning their division for promotion to NPL. Sad to report there are major rumours going about that Gateshead FC have asked the FA to step down to the national league north next season. Also there is a fans meeting on Wednesday night most probably to start up a "Phoenix" club. The current ownership has ruined them and today sacked the assistant manager and leaves just only 4 full time staff left. Hopefully they can find a park and a level to suit them... Or the supporters could.get behind South Shields...or Dunston...or Rutherford. GNU_Linux Posted April 29, 2019 Author Share Posted April 29, 2019 North Ferriby FC have sprung up as a phoenix club to recently folded North Ferriby Athletic & has been approved by FA. Club has been accepted to the Northern Counties league (NCEL) although its still tba which division they will gain entry at (either Premier at tier 9 or Division One at tier 10).
