English non-league

Sad to hear of what's happened to North Ferriby, weird that it's over such a relatively small debt, was the amount owned not made public to the fans?  Surely had they known they could have raised the 7,645 pounds.  I also looked at their twiter account and it's heartening to see other non-league clubs in their area offering to honour North Ferriby season tickets for the rest of the year

From what I've read other creditors are circling so the 7k figure is only a small amount of the actual debt. Interesting to see whether fans try to form a new club or back North Ferriby Athletic of the Humber Premier League (tier 11 or step 7 of the NLS).

As for the ground its owned by the council but appears to be safe from being sold off for property development as it's seemingly convenanted for sports use.

At least the local Council are allowing 'the heed' to use the stadium until the end of the season, I suppose. Sounds like the current owner wants out & ain't been paying the rent.

They needed to find somewhere else anyway. I'm not even sure there is the interest to sustain a club at that level. Ground share and NPL would be more viable.

Dorking Wanderers have won the Isthmian League Premier thus securing promotion to the Conference South. Will be the clubs first time at tier 6.

Dorking Wanderers were only formed in 1999 & in 2017 Dorking FC (formed 1880) were merged into the club.
