Don’t know what anyone else’s view on this is but I honestly think Ryan has tried to be a cocky little c**t and pass it in when he should of burst the net, having said that yous are absolutely fucking shite and your manager should be given a new deal.

I think he tried to make too sure of it and ended up making an arse of it!

In what was the 100th league game between them, I thought both teams were a vast improvement in the game a month or so ago at the Bairnabeu.
We should have been 1 down within a minute, with Ryan fluffing his shot, at an open net, hitting it straight into Fasans hands.
Took us til the end of the 1st half to get a real handle on the game, but it was a half of few chances with both only really mustering the one in target; ours being a complete kepper.
The 2nd half was very open end to end stuff, wasted by Dallas officiating.
We got out of jail, when the play was pulled back for a Pars foul, when they had a man clean through. Whilst we had two clear pen claims before scoring, one where Keeper & defender made an arse of clearing, with the latter handling. Then Petra being fouled all the way into the box, before being downed.
I had Paton's shot counted, before it rattled the bar, but Rudden's shot was worthy of winning a close game. It was netbound as soon as it left his boot.
For us, we're still improving, but a good way off where we would like to be.
Best games yet, from Harrison & Paton. My MoM, Robson.
On to Thistle next week & a chance to close things right up.

Very pleased with Harrison and Brough. Two players who were woeful now played correctly they are solid as feck. Well done Raymondo you may get a team out of these duds. Beat Plastic and who knows. Better than we were but not anywhere near good.

ahem

I think I said after our first game that Harrison would be here long after the rest of our Summer recruits have buggered off. There's a player and a leader in there.

ETA - wasn't he one of the few or the only one who had actually had some success at his previous club?

Said many weeks ago Falkirk wouldn't go down and I'm still confident that'll be the case. I wouldn't be so confident saying that about us though. One win at home - a gift against the only other side as poor as we both are - and barely any goals is relegation form no matter how you dress it up. We've also now missed out on McKinnon, McIntyre and Neilson, all of whom I'd have taken as manager. Had we scored from that early chance then I think we'd have went on to win quite comfortably but you could see Falkirk growing into the game as they sensed we were going to have one of those days (a home game, as we call it) in front of goal and yet again AJ was reactive rather than proactive when making changes. Keena going off was probably the turing point, for as bad as the Falkirk defenders are, my five a side team could keep the Ryan and el Bak non-partnership out - how two players can have such little understanding is beyond me tbh. A free week next weekend then a humbling in Dingwall awaits. Falkirk could be ahead of us fairly soon, we are that bad.

Looking forward to seeing AJ interview,

Don't get your hopes up, his interviews are pretty unspectacular even in extreme cases.

I thought it was a case of not believing he was still onside. If that's the case it's hardly an excuse as any natural striker will still knock it in and then look for the flag. Dreadful miss, whatever the excuse.

First off, Falkirk worked very hard, their fans made a lot of noise and Rudden's goal looked like a great strike. You could tell at the end how much the win meant to players and fans. Hope Bairnardo and Marshmallo had a lovely day out.

I could probably write an essay with everything wrong with the Pars today. We missed an absolute sitter after 30 seconds and I had a bad feeling about the game from that moment on. We had a lot of the ball and had several good openings but rarely tested Fasan. Williamson's performance was right up there with one of the worst I've ever seen at EEP from a player with talent. The slow pace we played at for almost the whole match was baffling and infuriating. Anytime we ran at the Falkirk defence or moved with speed they shat themselves but we decided to just smash it long or pass it across the pitch and go nowhere.

Despite all of that, I'm having to hear people say we were "unlucky"? Utter pish. If we'd had any sense of urgency about us then I strongly feel we could have won that game comfortably. Instead we let the match drift and stopped closing players down or making anything resembling a tackle. It was a shitebag performance tbh. DA Baracus will go mental at this probably but we looked like we didn't want it as much as them. Yet AJ says "there were a lot of good performances out there"?! One of the few I'd put in that category is Higgy and he got subbed.

If you include the Dundee United play-off match at the end of last season, we've now won once and scored twice in our last eight home matches. That's not even good enough to be classed as relegation form. It's utterly unacceptable and to hear AJ saying we need to be more clinical and just shrugging off a gutless derby defeat as no big deal left me more raging than anything at the game. I've given him the benefit of the doubt time and time again but he lost me with that. I'd hope to see "Club Statement - Allan Johnston" on my Twitter feed very shortly.
