For Inverness, I'd imagine this will be the kind of game where a win makes it look like their run of 7 draws and a win is seen as largely positive but a defeat would lead to comments like 8-game winless streak.

Team prediction, based on Caldwell’s post-match comments, and how he seems to set his teams up.

Elliott

McCarthy Keown Spittal Penrice

Bannigan Slater

Erskine Storer Fitzpatrick

Storey

Thistle - 0

ICT - However many they want

He could be one that's been crossed off Caldwell's "list" as he didn't feature yesterday at all , but in between his spells of standing on the ball and not tracking back he's also been injured quite a lot so it could have been that.

I can't make a convincing case for us to get anything from this game.

Miles Storey still has more league goals against us (3) than he does for us (2). I genuinely hate him.

Is his ball control still akin to trying to hold onto a wet bar of soap in the prison showers?

Hes shite. Came us to us because Yogi Hughes phoned Archie on a recommendation. Seriously.

And he was by no means the worst player Yogi signed for us.  Liam Hughes and Dani Lopez were worse.

Far worse.

Id feel more confident if Caldwell picked himself tbh

Likewise I'd feel better about our scoring chances if Robertson started up front.

He'd still get them to long ball it to his 5 foot 2 frame.
