Saw Edinburgh twice this season at Broadwood, impressed with them both times, well organised and carry a threat up front.

Very tough game for us and a game we really need to win, defeat and we will be too far off the pace and a place off spot is the best we can hope for.

Cudos to Edinburgh, don't think any would have foreseen the season they are having.

Never lost an away game to Edinburgh since they came up. 3 wins and a draw. Their run has got to come to an end sometime and we need this to haul us back into the title race.

Much will depend on the correct team selection and EVERY single player putting in a shift and playing well.

I would go:
Currie

Cuddihy rumsby mcniff Stewart

Nicol grant

Mcstay Lamont Syvertsen

Goodwillie

How can you still think playing McStay on the right is a viable option?

Currie

Cuddihy Rumsby McNiff Stewart

Grant Lamont

Syvertsen McStay Love/Boyle

Goodwillie

                            Currie

Cuddihy,    Rumsby / Cogill,   McNiff,   Stewart

                      Nicoll,  Rankin

         Syvertsen,   Lamont,   Love

                      Goodwillie

No place for Grant or McStay until they show some effort , time we had 11 men on the park, it's hurting us playing with 9

Toss of a coin with Rumsby and Cogill,  Rumsby been making mistakes lately , but has more experience than Cogill

Rankin in by default

Whats happened to Belmokhtar? Take it hes injured? Or has he disappeared from you like he did with us?

Seems to make an impact from the bench, not had many starts but hasn't really took his chance when he has.

Still here, was a sub and set up our goal last week. Not as good as Goodwillie or our new Norwegian though.

Currie

Cuddihy McNiff Cogill Stewart

Nicoll

McStay Boyle Syvertsen Lamont

Goodwillie

That's our defensive shape. When we're attacking, McStay and Lamont tuck inside and Boyle/Syvertsen push on and look to play Goodwillie through. Very similar to how we played last season, though ideally we'd have Duffie to play right back and Cuddihy further forward.
