Aboorden v Skeleton Accies: Spooky Halloween Edition

Recommended Posts

I wouldn't mind a couple of changes tonight.

Sunday will have been physically and mentally quite draining, and we've another tough fixture coming up this Sunday.

For that reason, Connor McLennan possibly coming in for McGinn - and maybe give Gleeson a game, with Shinnie dropping to LB as Lowe looked like he was toiling with his knee at the end of Sunday.

The #10 remains an open position. It would also be good to see Forrester in a game like this to see if there is anything there - as Wright possibly didn't take his chance at the weekend either, albeit is just back.

You make a lot of good points, but with Wright, he needs a run of starts to hopefully get the best out of him as we saw against St Mirren.

No was working and only just back.
How bad have we been?
Just making it so easy for them. Actually had a few half chances. I'm bored and cold.
Melanius Mullarkey are you enjoying the game?

That was as comfortable a win as you'll see at Pittodrie. Reminded me of the midweek League Cup games against the likes of Brechin and other lower league sides under the floodlights.

Accies had a decent chance about 15 mins in whereby it may have clipped the outside post from a long shot, but that was pretty much it from them. A handful of Row Z efforts from then on and one that forced a standard parry.

Third goal looked like a bit of a howler from the keeper, but he made up for it with a great top corner save from Logan a few minutes later.  Long range efforts were flavour of the day and the second goal was a cracker.  A decent watch, even if incredibly one sided.

Eta: Stevie May was absolutely useless. Any confidence has obviously gone.

Ferguson and Shinnie played very well - Ferguson was particularly impressive, like a fusion of the good versions of Jack and McLean. Lowe and Wright were also pretty good, and both deserve a run in the team. Wilson's goal was excellent.

Some of our passing out from the centre-backs could do with fine tuning, and our final ball wasn't always up to scratch. Still, three goals and a clean sheet after Sunday's heroics, so all good.
