Bring Your Own Socks
Brora, Cove and East Kilbride had spent that money and assembled squads but still didn't make the jump. Play offs are also different from cup ties - the stakes are much higher and it is a different mindset. I am not so sure that most League 2 clubs are all that envious of the squads of these other clubs. League 2 clubs respect these clubs but are not envious or in fear of them. They may though have a couple of star players who are funded at higher levels. The Shire were a different beast - a club that was well below the standard of the rest of League 2 for many years (apart from the Fearn backed time). 4 winning promotion in next 10 years doesn't prove anything about the strength of the Leagues - Edinburgh City don't have the same players as they had in LL taking them up League 2. Again it isn't necessarily 40% of current league 2 clubs relegated. League 1 and even Championship clubs can drop into League 2 and be threatened- see Cowden and Albion Rovers. The Lowland League though will strengthen in next few years as the junior entrants to EOSL make their way into it - that also makes it a "better" league for league 2 clubs to drop intoCareful. I think you’re saying the SPFL’s plan is working?

++Ammo - Airdrie++
St Andrews Bar is a great wee pub for anyone wanting an earlier drink. There's also a wetherspoons a 5 mins walk along towards the town centre called "The Vulcan" for anyone who didn't know, and across the road from that there's a newly opened "sports bar" called Merlin's, just underneath the newly refurbished Platinum Nightclub.

an86
First proper “big jaicket” game of the season. There’s no way back from this until about March.

williebraveheart
That was a cold but happy experience. Not often we get the result we should get.
Bring Your Own Socks
Four wins. Ten goals and three against. Surely Manager of the Month for Marko. Big challenges in November but what a turnaround in the last few weeks. Great work guys. Very fair result today.

qpfc
Comfortable win today and it's easy to see why Albion are sitting rock bottom when they are gifting goals like the 2nd today. For as bad as Albion were, we didn't even play particularly amazing and yet we still won 3-0. Really enjoying the different style of play implemented from Roberts and it's a system that's paying off massively for Hawke. Finally, we've got an effective physical presence up front who can actually score, definitely think he'll score a fair few over the season. Motm for me was Gerry, absolute rock at the back and player of the season for us so far.
Alf Stamp Army
Coincidence ?Another positive substitution at half time and although not at our best especially first half 3-0 win at the Stadio is a rare event Thought Ciaran Summers, Gerry & Lewis Hawke excellent Rovers a lot better than at Hampden but punished for defensive mistakes and missed chances which sounds like the story of their season left back deservedly their MoM I’d start with Moore nxt week btw
Bring Your Own Socks
I’d start with Moore nxt week btwMight be a stamina thing at the moment. Would be interesting to see if he could maintain that pace for 90. East had another good shift too.
