Calling Cards of Morons

Jeremy Vine show is on at work and the subject is sewage in English waters.

They interviewed some women on one such beach (could just have easily been men).

"Oh we swim in here all the time. This report won't stop us".

The mind-boggling stupidity of some human beings never ceases to amaze

Which is basically code for 'We're lifelong Tory voters and won't say anything bad about them even if we don't agree with what they're doing.'

People from working class towns and cities in Scotland who had their industries and communities destroyed by the Tories over a couple of decades who now vote for the fucking scumbags because 'no surrender'.

People who apparently despise the Tories and claim to have strong socialist beliefs about how power and wealth should be divided in society, but who somehow abandon them altogether when it comes to football, where the entire point actually is fair competition.

Hiya. I'm Dave, 32 and I'm an IT analyst from Stoke and I'm quite shy...

Aye, it's alright for Dave on Channel 4 but get it out behind Martin Geissler* when he's doing an outside broadcast and you get arrested. Double standards there.

*A c*nt.

Pleasant walk to work in the warming sun blighted by a moron who for about 10mins was walking just ahead of me having a conversation on his phone with the phone held horizontally in front of him and it on speaker phone. I could hear both sides of conversation, sadly absolutely nothing interesting only highlights being every time a car drove past he had to ask her to repeat herself as he couldn't hear her,

If only there was a way to get the phone closer to his ear.

One wonders why you persisted in trailing them? Most morons in this class proceed at the speed of a crippled snail, stumbling over everything.

We were heading in same direction and I amble/saunter to work, I walk faster when leaving work on way to pub. My destination and the weather have effect on my pace.

I’ve said it before, but I think it’s worth repeating (which itself could be a calling card), people who go to the gym and park in the drop off point outside the gym, or park outside marked parking bays so that they don’t have to walk an extra 20m. Here’s an idea, park properly and count the extra 20m you’ll walk as part of your workout.

These will be the people who do not go to the gym to work out, but who go there to be seen to work out.

Thread title stands.

The shite/selfish parking is also probably related to them not wanting any lesser mortal dinging the doors of their precious German car of choice that a high proportion of these sorts seem to favour on PCP.

I've seen this happening so often recently. It's like people have completely forgotten how a phone works.

Almost as bad is the sitting in the car and talking on the hands free. Given the volume is usually sufficient that anyone within 100-200 feet can hear the caller, I’d not be calling the doctor or the mistress while parked. Surely these people have heard someone else doing the same thing and realized how audible it is.

This happens quite often outside our office and boss asked us if they realised how loud it was? I had to point out that it happens to anyone who has their phone hooked up to their cars stereo system but it's geared to be at that volume to go over the noise of the road as you're tanking it on the dual carriageway at 70mph rather than parked up. If only car manufacturers altered the volume depending on how fast the vehicle is moving. One potentiometer solves a lot of issues
