DiegoDiego
Isn't a Syrian a massive dirty sex machine? Tonight I've found out my mates pub has seen his leccy and gas go from £500 a month to £1200 My work's gas bill for this year is £600,000. They've been advised to expect £2.1 million next year. Costa's coffee is absolutely bogging as well. I do enjoy their lattes but that's obviously predominantly milk. I generally take my coffee black now and it's really bad. If I'm in Glasgow I'll go to Gordon St Coffee every time. Far nicer and less expensive into the bargain. I'd always pick an independent over a chain when it comes to coffee tbh. The chain coffee business model involves cheap, shitey coffee who's taste is masked with cheap sugary additions. It's like drowning some generic three year old blend with cola.

The coffee multinationals are considerably more expensive than local business in my experience.

Scotland will never be rid of this shite (on both sides), sadly. 4 minutes ago, DiegoDiego said: My work's gas bill for this year is £600,000. They've been advised to expect £2.1 million next year. On the coffee chat, I've just returned from Jamaica with a bag of Blue Mountain beans which I was assured are the freshest I could possibly have and will be worth every penny. The stuff i drank whilst there was fantastic so hope I'm not disappointed with my home ground efforts.

I've not seen a single nation at this tournament that's made me think, "we'd definitely have beaten them", and that goes for the hosts too.

Never ever ever underestimate Scotland’s ability to not to turn up. I had someone say to me at the weekend that had Scotland qualified instead of Wales, they would’ve gotten a result again Iran. I was thinking to myself it would’ve been more likely that Scotland would’ve frozen in much the way Wales did.

We were shite against Armenia too; thankfully they pulled that "last one in the shower's a rotten egg" trick they seem so keen on. We're by no means consistent enough to make statements like that. Edit: also, and I appreciate that it's not necessarily relevant to 2022 but, our record against Wales in the past eight encounters is 1-1-6. Since before the Bale era, we've pretty undeniably been the UK's third team for a good fifteen years or more. Even if their legacy seeding keeps them afloat for a bit longer, I strongly suspect that's about to change.
