19QOS19
I refuse to believe anyone who isn't American can be naturally interested in something so objectively terrible. Not sure why you have to be American to enjoy a sport. It's objectively a very good tactical game. But people who don't fully understand the rules tend to just dismiss it as shite - as did I until I decided to have a go at understanding it. Baseball however is utter shite even if you know the rules. I believe that it is basically a shite version of Rugby. Is this correct?Couldn't be further away if you tried.

pandarilla
Couldn't be further away if you tried. Baseball is hands down the best American sport (and I like American football and basketball).

carpetmonster
Baseball is hands down the best American sport (and I like American football and basketball). Baseball is OK if you're at the game, but it's a fucking trudge on telly.
The OP
Having attempted to give American football a go it strikes me that it is a bit like what football would be like if there was nothing to football other than set pieces.
ah-dee
i love watching the NFL. would be great to get over to oakland and take in a raiders game. they really make every game an event over there with their parties before and after the match. baseball sucks. ive tried to watch it but just cant get interested.

Seems they both agreed which hotel/casino was whos. Obviously there’s a designated Rangers Casino and a Celtic Casino at opposite ends of the strip.

Bully Wee Villa
Basketball is seriously pish. Why don't they put the basket out of arm's reach so it's actually difficult to score? How can you get excited about scoring when you know there will be another score three seconds later? Goals, touchdowns, tries, wickets and (I imagine) runs and outs in baseball are all meaningful. Scores in basketball are so common that they are rendered tedious. Edited October 22, 2018 by Bully Wee Villa
D.A.F.C
Man child morons who drink cheap shitey lager every night despite having families and usually support The OF or a big English side. They support them by boasting when they win and having great banter with other man children who support the rivals. All they ever talk about is sport or gambling and seem to be everywhere these days. What kind of p***k would support their big team over their local side and cheer them on from their arm chair? Theyre not fans at all.

Unfortunately liking American sports makes people say things like “sucks”. i have no idea why i used that word as i never usually!

Bully Wee Villa
None of them are eligible to take part in the World Series though. Lots of countries play football, it would still be pretty embarrassing if Celtic or Man City started branding themselves as "World Champions" on the basis of winning their domestic league.
