Calling Cards of Morons

Recommended Posts

People who parrot worn-out political sayings as justification for their horrible handed-down viewpoints (which they most likely heard someone else say first) - usually things about the lines as follows:

  • Immigrants coming here and taking "our" jobs
  • The death penalty should be re-introduced
  • Tommy Robinson is a brave man who says what everyone is afraid to say
  • All soldiers who were killed in action died for our freedoms and we owe everything to them.

Just a bit surprised that the owner would brag about this to a stranger if he was making knock offs, as seems likely. If it ever happened.

Not sure I'd have believed that a CEO would publicly proclaim that his company sells total crap, but we know how that went.

I've not known a huge number of high heid yins, but hubris has been one character trait that they've had in common.

People who believe that an individual's thoughts, opinions and "identity" carry more weight than actual scientific facts - especially when it comes to the ridiculous idea that people can choose their gender and change it at will.

If I identified as a female  Rhinoceros and insisted that everyone refer to me as Miss Rhino, I would be quite rightly ridiculed and probably detained in an institution. This is because it is impossible to be anything other than the species and gender I was born with. If society is going to allow people to "change" an unchangeable aspect of their biology such as gender, then why not allow them to change other fixed aspects as well?

Have you been working out, David?

There isn't enough for the ladies on this site. Don't worry, I've remembered to order in the correct verdant hue.

I love the idea that someone going under the name of a famous deceased philosopher would have a problem with someone else deciding what they'd like to be called. Cherry on the cake would be if Freddy's actually a ladyperson.

I'm not a ladyperson. I haven't ruled out becoming one in future though.

Biggest ever "Scottish cringe" I've ever had was seeing some twat in a Hibs top on the strip in Vegas.

I was there last year when the Rangers and Celtic conventions were both in town :(:(

I felt they both did a good job to take over a hotel and not mingle. Seems they both agreed which hotel/casino was whos.

My father was in the army for nearly 30 years and he's a sound old c**t tbh. I've known a few people around his age who were in the army who are alright, but every soldier of my generation who I've met clearly thought they were something special just because they were in the army.

I think the arsehole thing is a relatively new development.
