Why didn't you just go in through a window?

Could be wrong, but I'd imagine a kicked-in door would be easier to fix than a broken window. Also, the door faced away from the road.

I guess I could've tried the chimney, but we've all seen Gremlins.

Edit: the adherence to proper foot-to-door placement on this thread has been pleasing.

There must be a helluva lot of secondary school PE teachers in Canada.

No just old white guys who "aren't racist but..." I'm guessing they wear New Balance to support carrying around their guts and to help with their bum knee that stopped them being a pro hockey player.

I kinda know where DA is coming from. A group of ten kids with Adidas gutties and skinny jeans swaggering about like Noel Gallagher.
Almost every club has them.

Aye when you think of Noel Gallagher the first three things that come to mind are Adidas trainers, skinny jeans and a swagger.

There seems to be some amount of folk on here who dress like they've got 6 quid in their bank account and/or they're going hill walking.

British people who pronounce things the American way.  Amazon pronounced 'Ama-Zon' and Madagascar with the final syllable rhyming with 'bar'.  The latter definitely changed the usual way people pronounce it after that kids film came out.
