Calling Cards of Morons

Like the wonderful person she is she ignored the weirdo and got on with her actual work.

I had something like this in an IT job I worked in about a decade ago.  This guy, who was a prick came in one day and asked if I had 'turned the internet off'.  Another time there was a power cut and he came running into the IT office to tell us and ask what we were going to do.

'Yes mate, we can see the power has gone off, our room in darkness too as you can see, the servers are up though as the UPS and diesel genny has kicked in.'

'Ah right but we have no power?'

'Aye, you might want to go and find the fucking building manager who can phone SSE?'. (I did actually say fucking to him, the silly cunt).  Why do people think every issue that involves a plug is an IT issue?

Boy at work (60's from a Tory heartland but lives up here) was at our boss for about 3 months asking him if we were getting Friday off for it.  One of the other boys in the team then asked him if he was that weirdo who dresses up in the Union Flag outfit and carries the doll when there's a new royal baby. He wasn't happy.

To be fair to this guy he probably just wants the extra holiday. I couldn’t be less interested in the Queen or her celebrations but I made sure I was getting the day off.

Is talking your boss out of giving you a holiday; just to get it up a gammon, a calling card of a moron?

Who was taking him out of getting a designated public holiday?

Claiming that you can't have a go at football players these days.

Aye, some won't react well to it and a different approach is needed, but plenty will react to it in a positive manner. Sometimes some players need a kick up the arse.

The older days of just shouting and screaming at players was never effective for all players anyway, but things have moved on and you don't need to swear and scream at someone to call them out and have a go at them.

Was there a particular set of football players you had in mind to have a go at.

Perhaps last season's players from a team whose nickname rhymes with "cars"?

Anyone involved in football who uses (or over-uses) the phrase "We go again". Well fucking done, you've grasped the concept that time passes sequentially.

Last night it was "pick the bones out of that" after England got bumped.
