i've came to the conclusion that everything is over politicised. i feel like anyone can't have a view on things without being tagged with right or left.

I agree.

Political parties fashion their policies and manifestos to suit and target those sections of community that will  provide income to their coffers.

If you ignore how political economy effects every aspect of your life the result is handing unfettered power to elites.

Most people don't understand the economy, nor can they be bothered to. The only economy they're interested in is their own personal economy.

There's one thing I have learned in life and that is to never underestimate people.

You may be right but when people see fuel and food prices rocketing and major stores closing then they don't have to be financial experts to know that something is rotten in the state of Denmark and the economy is licking it's own arse.

If by "right wing", you mean someone who believes in low taxation, small government and  minimal interference in peoples lives, then I'm definately right wing. If you believe in the nanny state policing peoples speech, high taxation and micro management of peoples lives then you're in the same camp as Stalin, Hitler, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot  and Nicolas Maduro.

You're a wishy washy libertarian. Right wing means interfering in peoples lives big style, what sex and gender are you if you want to get married, state interference if you want to control over your own womb, where were you born if you want to apply for a job, the list is endless.

Any time you're talking to someone who's vehemently opposing nationalisation, it's always good to ask them if they think the armed forces or police should be privatised as well.

If the answer is "no" (which it is for almost all of them) then it's quite funny watching their entire argument crumble in the space of a few seconds.

So you basically believe in a free market capitalist system with minimal government interference.

But let me ask you this. What happens when a handful of corporations become so strong as a restult of unregulated free market capitalism, that they effectively own and run the economy?

Who would you turn to in the world of corporate communism?

Right wingers aren't vocal about it, because they know their views are an illness. A murderer, rapist, pedophile.... etc wouldn't openly out themselves and attempt to defend their views. So why would anybody on the right side of the political spectrum?

You say this and then you say a load of right wing things throughout the thread. Are you confused?

People are entitled to their opinion and can vote whatever way they want, but anyone right of centre is a racist, selfish c**t.

The first thing to understand in that there is only one race—the human race. Caucasians, Africans, Asians, Indians, Arabs, and Jews are not different races. Rather, they are different ethnicities of the human race. If you really believe what you have written you should seriously think of visiting a doctor but I think you are just an angry person. Do you require a job?

I mean "people are entitled to their opinion and can vote whatever way they want" Really! Try telling that to the EU.

Thing is that is exactly what's already happening in a lot of oil and gas rich countries, the new kids on the block presently Ghana and Guyana are experiencing that process right now.

The UK is also manipulated by the major's to suit their policies.

Not so long ago any major with just over a 2%  stake in a producing North Sea platform only paid 16% tax on exploration costs.

And consider that you never ever see the  Major oil companies top men being interviewed or discussed on TV, rather you get Ian Wood a service company owner and out of sight in the pecking order or some Aberdeen Uni professor or The RBS oil expert? talking shite.

And let's not start on Google, Amazon, Apple and Starbucks who justify how much tax they pay because they offer min wage employment to UK citizens.

You ask 'what happens when', in fact it's happening right now whether we like it or not.

I know it's happening already. But what do you think the cause is? Government with too much power (Socialism), or government giving too much power away to banks and corporations? (Your free market capitalism)
