His band members of noticeable lower status stand cowering behind the leader are made conspicuous by the local custom of forcing low standing twinks to wear the tightest jeans possible as ritual humiliation before they earn their 'top boy' title. The confrontation escalates in the time honoured manner of exchange of particularly cutting insults followed by light object throwing and erupts fully into the magnificent 'pavement bounce' in all it's natural glory. As the bouncing subsides the tribesmen dissipate into the concrete jungle, spent by all the exhilaration and brimming with the joy of their public display of dominance.
