BBC Scotland seem to be getting a hell of a lot more mileage out of the coin throwing than the did when a The Rangers fan conked a linesman.  Neither are acceptable but the difference in reporting is stark.

Probably because of the wildly different press appeal of the victims. One of a cast of interchangeable and faceless linesmen, as opposed to one of the best known faces in Scottish football who has been the victim of abuse for almost twenty years.

Either that or it's a PROTESTANT CONSPIRACY!!!!!!!!!!!

This.

The Rangers Livi incident got plenty of coverage, but Lennon getting hit with a coin at a ground where he's been assaulted before is always going to be a bigger story.

Whilst no one deserves pelted with a coin and you have to be a complete thicko to even think of launching a coin, Lennon doesn't exactly do himself any favours.  I actually like him these days but he could probably reign it in a bit, there wasn't any need to react like that at an offside call.

Kamberi won the aerial challenge and then momentum took him into the Hearts player. Not his problem he couldn’t stand his ground - shouldn’t have been a foul, never mind a booking.

You’d have been raging if Hearts got a red for either Kamberi or Bartley’s tackle, let’s be honest.

Was it for the tackle? I thought it was for him completely losing the plot and having to be restrained by his team mates.

No, poor Neil was the victim here. It was a blatant sectarian attack on poor wee Neil.

If an opposition manager cannot laugh in the faces of a few thousand fans at a highly tense derby without risking getting coined, I don’t know what our game is coming to.

Well it's also true that someone in the stand who had probably been giving out abuse all night then couldn't cope with a wee bit back from Lennon and launched a coin.

All a wee bit pathetic from all parties isn't it.

Sunday: "anyone that gets involved in a fight over football needs to re-evaluate their life"

Thursday: "anyone that throws coins or punches at opposition managers/players needs to re-evaluate their life"

Have a fucking word with yourself, FFS!
