What events in Scottish football do you wish we had P+B around for?

The establishment of the sfl as the major league as well as the central league breakaway with clubs signing players away from 'bigger clubs' due to the no maximum wage.

The 'c' league, especially given the current controversy over b teams.

Third Lanark's demise

In 1954 Leith Athletic actually took a stand and resigned from the C Division and went into oblivion. The C Division clubs were amalgamated into the Second Division a year later.  I'm not saying there would have been a Leith Ath today but....

On 27/10/2018 at 16:52, Bully Wee Villa said:

He was sacked because he was talking to Aberdeen.

There was allegations of theft.

ffs, don’t mention it on the St Mirren forum, Last time it came up there was talk of reset at Paisley Rd Toll and some old guy that knew the sizes of the tracksuits and named the bar staff. All a bit embarrassing. Truth was more likely the then St Mirren chairman and Fergie had a personality clash.

The Jorge Cadete 'goal' at Ibrox that was about 3 miles onside but ruled offside would have seen some major headsgone material from the Celtic fans. Justifiably so but still entertaining nonetheless.

I know it's been mentioned, but the 1980 Scottish Cup Final and aftermath would have been perfect. It's so good because it hits all the buttons.

Celtic fans basically did what Hibs fans did after their cup win - invaded the pitch in a happy, boisterous kind of way. The trigger event for bringing the berrs oot was a Celtic fan running up to the Rangers end of the pitch and kicking a ball into the goal. That's what started all the violence. So you'd have Rangers fans being just as banterific as they were in 2016.

The SFA, the police and the (Tory) Secretary of State all blamed Celtic. That would have gone down just super with the Celtic fans and not at all stuck a massive nuclear device under the oppression complex.

The police were pretty shite, they were out policing the streets and there were nowhere near enough in the stadium. It took them ages to get back in. But you could defend them if you wanted to.

To everyone else, the who's-right-who's-wrong would take a back seat to the spectacle of sectarian violence live on TV.

And then they got everyone's alcohol taken off them.

I don't think there's a single Scottish football fan who would be left without good cause for personal best levels of seethery.

Hearts 0 v 7 Hibs would have been mildly amusing, however Hearts 4 v 1 Hibs shortly afterwards, would have been downright mayhem.
